I miss this place

really really miss this place :')

It was 10 days near to Christmas after my arrival in Italy. I was so happy i could celebrate 'Natale' with my Italian family! That coming' Christmas made me extremely excited (including the two weeks school holidays for Christmas! I would be travelling in the caravan with the Terzi family!) I was really lucky to get such lovely host family during my stay :) 

That's the Christmas tree in a corner of the house, so well-decorated. Sparkling and sparkling.. it made this house merrier! I remember we removed all the decorations and kept the Christmas tree back in the store after Christmas had passed.. 

On the table was Malaysian typical food i brought for them. Also, the batik table cloth & little batik handkerchiefs.. i was glad that they like them. Especially the 'beehive crackers' made by my mummy, it was my host mom's favourite! hahaha :D 

 I can't really explain why but i just really love Italian houses. My host house is simple but it made me feel warm & cosy like my real home.. :> with the yellow lightnings.. a me piace (Y)

oh my God i really miss standing at one side, watching my host mom and dad cooking delicacies!! oh mio dio :( i miss my stay with them.. it's true that you will be emotional and sadness suddenly comes to you during the night~

Beautiful Day

Woke up early and headed to meet up with my friends near our school. Had a hearty breakfast with them and played, talked, shared anything in the garden with them while waiting for the out-coming SPM result. I had cold feet, i was worried if i cant satisfy myself, i cant make my parents proud. But everything's over now, i am thankful for getting the result i wanted. Thanks God. i am so overwhelmed when i saw my parents smiled and showered with happiness when they knew my result. Thanks for being my all time "back-bones", pa & ma, thanks for the love you've given to me. Thanks for your sacrifice. OK so stop talking bout the result and go back to the moment when we spent our time playing in the garden. We have snapped many photos just now :)

p/s we know we're crazy XD

Fully Packed Day!

Christmas Dinner with AFS 

just right after I have reached Caravaggio *tireddd -_-

with the AFS participants from various countries and the AFS volunteers.

There were two participants who attended the same school with me (Liceo Statale Galileo Galilei in Caravaggio), Yunfan from China (sitting beside me) and Georgina from Mexico (beside Yunfan).

And.. i know i am weird cuz i really love snapping food with my camera --" 

ITALIAN FOOD ~

This is something like smoked bacon and i don't like it~ it tasted like raw meat.

Italians must have breads on their dinning table every time they eat.

The bread was really hard but as i ate it almost everyday that i got to love the hardness of the bread.. haha.

Pasta, a must in every dining.

Not sure what meat was that, i think it's pork, and some potatoes. 

Then we headed to Daniele's Birthday Party at his house

Arrival in Rome

There was 34 AFS students who joined this 2 months program in Italy. We had to be on our own all the way to Dubai for the transit, then to Rome. It took roughly about 13 hours all together to reach Rome. We traveled with Emirates (many people said it's the largest airplane in the world. i don't know~) The services were really good and made me satisfied with the travel. I really enjoyed the flights with Emirates. The food served were awesome, we had everything we wanted. We also had our own personal little screen in front of our seat for musics, movies, games, etc. They prepared warm blankets and headphones for each of us. Sound great right? Yeah the flights with Emirates were very comfortable. Thanks Emirates and also the air-crafts :) All of us arrived safely in Rome a.k.a Roma in Italian.

When we arrived in Roma we met our AFS volunteers who brought us to a hotel with a bus. We had to stay at the hotel for some orientation activities and overnight there before meeting our host families the next morning. 

It was pretty cold there~~ but the city i stayed was colder than Roma! mamma mia o_O
This was on the 3 hours fast train (from Rome to Milan)
